ClearCopy is an AI-powered speech-to-text service that converts audio recordings into polished text outputs (emails, summaries, instructions, etc.). We provide both free and paid subscription plans.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate
• Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Subscription Plans and Billing

Free Plan: Limited to 5 recordings per month. All other features are available.

Pro Plan: Subscription-based plan with unlimited recordings and priority processing. The Pro plan is billed monthly at $9.99/month and renews automatically unless canceled.

Billing: By subscribing to the Pro plan, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period.

Refunds: We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for new Pro subscriptions. Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of initial subscription.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Violate any laws in your jurisdiction
• Infringe upon the rights of others
• Transmit any harmful, offensive, or objectionable content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service

6. Content and Intellectual Property

Your Content: You retain all rights to the audio recordings and text outputs you create using ClearCopy. You grant us a limited license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

Our Content: The Service, including its design, features, and functionality, is owned by ClearCopy and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our written permission.

7. AI-Generated Content

ClearCopy uses artificial intelligence to process your audio recordings. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated content before using it. We are not liable for any consequences arising from the use of AI-generated content.

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability of the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily limit access. We are not liable for any downtime or service interruptions.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CLEARCOPY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes via email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
